The art of traditional Thai massage is a form of healing in the ancient Thai medicine. Traditional Thai massage has been practiced for over 2500 years in Thailand and was brought to many other countries.

Thai massage is based on enhancing the intrinsic energy flow and balancing the body by stimulating its muscles and nerves. With light and deep touching techniques, as well as with gentle mobilization techniques of various parts of the body, the Thai massage stimulates the immune, cardiovascular, lymphatic, nervous and all the other organic systems of the body. Most commonly, after a traditional Thai massage, the clients report a relief of painful or aching muscles and increase in flexibility, higher energy level, better sleep, less stress and an overall better feeling, just to name a few.

Unlike most massages in which the clothing is discarded and oils are used, the client for traditional Thai massage is dressed in light clothing and no oils are used. Traditional Thai massage relies on acupressure points as well as stretching of the body to improve circulation, relive pain and increase flexibility. Pressure points of the body are known for thousands of years by ancient oriental practitioners to stimulate various organs and organ systems of the body to restore energy and balance.
